In May 2022, Instagram hosted an exclusive Affiliate Day at the stunning Valentine venue in DTLA, Los Angeles, bringing Emerging Creators together to celebrate and explore the future of on-platform commerce. Guests were treated to a specialized lunch featuring industry speaker sessions focused on optimizing affiliate revenue.
The immersive event included a dedicated Playground for creators to generate engaging Instagram content, alongside a live environment to test the platform’s native affiliate tagging feature. The day was rounded out with a robust gifting suite showcasing commission-eligible products and a Genius Bar offering one-on-one expert support from Instagram to help creators immediately integrate and master the new monetization tools.
